How many photos can a 2 GB memory card hold for a 10.1 pixel sony camera?

I just bought a new sony camera and i still need to buy a memory card. I just wanted to know how many photos can a 2 GB memory card hold for my 10.1 pixel camera. Please help me! Answers will be appreciated.

You don’t need the full 10 megapixel on every picture since it’s the lens that matter. Unless you want every picture you print to be as big as 8R, having a 2GB memory card on your 10 megapixel camera is enough.

If you use 10 megapixel= 200 pictures (and that still depends on the quality you’ve chosen in your camera function)

A 5 megapixel picture is enough. So that means you can store 400+ pics on a 2gb camera.
