How can this simple wiring to create a motion detector chime?

I have a motion detector light. The motion detector part feeds black / white lights, which could be exploited to feed a transformer which in turn, 110 AC to 16V DC for a wind chime. The Black, white, and green wires are the power transformer 120 volt input. The 2 screws on the side "are the outgoing 16V 15VA low voltage power. But, as already stated, trying to do this will almost certainly fry the chime unit. These are only meant to be for a short time. More than that and they cook.
