How can I disable the seatbelt warning light and buzzer on my car?
I have a Kia Spectra 2006 and when I'm parked and not wear my seat belt, my car and constantly makes noise DINGS. I looked in the manual, but could not find a way to effectively disable the noise. All it says that my car is still present for six seconds every 24 seconds up to 11 times. (Can you say annoying?!) Please help! Not that I DONT use my belt of security …. I always always always do! Its just that when I'm parked and trying to have a conversation before entering a store or something that is constantly. Someone told me that his combination of things .. like putting the car in park, then move the flashing light, then then the unity of the park. Even though my car is in accessory mode, the chime still goes off. Theres not win. If I sit in my car, then I buckle my belt. I'll get a fuse however!
i bought a belt buckle of the devastating car ($ 6). It's in my center console and plug it into my belt thinger security when I parked my car so it * thinks * I'm wearing my seat belt and close AFT. people think its silly but it sure is better than /.
